Ridgeview 2nd Newsletter September 6th

“Look unto Christ” Worldwide Youth Broadcast

The Church has announced a special broadcast event for youth scheduled for October 26, 2025 (or later depending on area needs).

President Jeffrey R. Holland, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, has prepared a special message for youth. President Emily Belle Freeman, Young Women General President, and President Timothy L. Farnes, Young Men General President, will also share messages inspired by the youth theme “Look unto Christ.”

Local leaders are invited to plan gatherings where young women and young men can view this broadcast together and then have opportunities to reflect and share how they have come closer to the Savior throughout the year.

The broadcast will be available through the Gospel Library and at broadcasts.ChurchofJesusChrist.org in multiple languages. For more information, visit the Church’s official announcement.

It’s encouraged that our youth leaders coordinate viewing opportunities for our ward’s young men and young women to participate in this inspiring event together.

2026 Youth Theme and Resources

The Church has announced the Youth Theme for 2026 as “Walk With Me” (See Moses 6:34).

Moses 6:34: “Behold my Spirit is upon you, wherefore all thy words will I justify; and the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers shall turn from their course; and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me.”

Resources for this theme can be found at the Church website at youth.churchofjesuschrist.org, including songs, music, and artwork. Additional resources will be available in the January issue of For the Strength of Youth.

It’s encouraged that we talk about these ideas as parents and as youth leaders and promote them for talks, activities, and devotionals.
