Changes to the Sunday Class Meeting Schedule

The First Presidency has announced that beginning the first week of September 2026, the Sunday worship class schedule will be changing. Sacrament meeting will remain no longer than 60 minutes. Following a 5-minute transition, youth and adults will attend a 25-minute Sunday School class each week, then another 5-minute transition into a 25-minute priesthood quorum, Relief Society, or Young Women meeting.

Primary will continue to meet weekly and will now last 55 minutes. Sunday School and Primary classes will continue studying the scriptures using Come, Follow Me for Home and Church. Elders quorums and Relief Societies will study messages from the most recent general conference, and youth will use a new and expanded edition of For the Strength of Youth: A Guide for Making Choices. Quorums and classes will no longer counsel together on a specific topic prior to lessons.

Summer Walking Group

Brother Corey Freeze is leading the walking group, meeting in the Highland Glen parking lot. Starting at 7:00 AM, and at the top of each hour (8:00, 9:00, and 10:00 AM), the group gathers at the same spot. Brother Freeze walks all four hours, but you’re welcome to come for just 30 or 60 minutes starting at 7, 8, 9, or 10 AM. The group returns to the starting spot at the top of each hour.

Bring your kiddo in the stroller, your dog on a leash, or whatever works for you. It’s a great chance to build connections, get some exercise, and have fun together, and there will be water and snacks at home base.

Mark your calendars for our remaining dates: June 6, July 11, August 8, August 29, and our finale on September 26.

This is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen friendships across the ward. Invite a friend, neighbor, ministering companion, ministering brothers, and the young men to join you!
